# Joining Anarchy

How to connect to Anarchy.

**Joining the Anarchy Minecraft Server from Java.**

To join the Anarchy server that supports Minecraft Java Edition versions 26.1.2 and above, follow these steps:

1. **Start Minecraft Java Edition** Launch the game on your computer.
2. **Select the Correct Version** Ensure you're using a game version that's 26.1.2 or newer. You can select this in the installations tab on the launcher.
3. **Open Multiplayer** From the main menu, click on "Multiplayer."
4. **Add Server** Click the "Add Server" button at the bottom of the screen.
5. **Enter Server Details** In the "Server Name" field, you can enter any name that will help you remember the server. For the "Server Address" field, enter the official anarchy server address.

1. **Join the Server** After adding the server details, you'll see it listed in your multiplayer menu. Select the server and click "Join Server" to connect.

**Joining the Anarchy Minecraft Server from Bedrock.**

1. Start Minecraft Bedrock, then navigate to the Servers section and add a new server.
2. Enter the IP: **mc.anarchy.ac** and Port: **19132**.
3. Once done, you can attempt to join the server.
4. If successful, you will join the server and can play alongside Java Edition players.

# Rules

Violations of these guidelines may result in temporary loss of chat privileges or server access, especially in cases of exploiting bugs or glitches while we work to resolve the issue.

1. **No Lag Machines:** Do not intentionally build structures or use mechanisms designed to cause server-wide lag or crashes.
2. **No DDoS:** Any attempts to disrupt the server via DDoS attacks.
3. **No Spam:** Spamming chat with repeated messages. While chat is largely unmoderated, this disrupts the experience for others. Do not use automation to send messages in the chat.
4. **No Advertising:** Promoting other servers, websites or services in chat is not allowed.
5. This server allows light swearing in their community. **\[Bullying, Hate Speech, and Inappropriate Chat are still prohibited]**
6. **Respect Server Integrity:** While the gameplay is unmoderated, actions that could permanently damage the server's data or infrastructure are not allowed.


# Modifications

The server is based on the Survival gamemode with Hard difficulty. However, several optimizations have been made to enhance both performance and gameplay.

**Phantoms**

* Phantoms and their mechanics are completely disabled.

**Monsters**

* Spawning mechanics have been reworked, with more monsters appearing closer to players.

**Player Spawning**

* Players spawn within a **2,000-block radius** from the world center (0,0).
* The spawn system has been adjusted to provide more variety in starting locations.

**Anti-Cheat**

* Players are permitted to use cheats and modifications.
* However, certain cheat functionalities may be restricted, primarily to prevent harmful movement exploits.

**Item Duplication**

* A system is in place to mitigate item duplication and patch exploits quickly.
* While duplication is inevitable in Minecraft, it remains **allowed** when possible.
* Duplicated items will not be removed.

**Nether Roof**

* Access to the Nether roof is blocked.

**Chat**

* Several chat-related enhancements are available.&#x20;
